Job Description
A Service Technician is responsible for providing technical repair and service of our product. The scope of their responsibilities may include installation, maintenance, and overall service of our windows and doors. Their responsibilities include diagnostic review, repair, and replacement of parts as well as the replacement and installation of our product.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING | THE ROLE
- Make decisions based on job site evaluations for windows and doors that need service attention
- Understand correct installation process and proper functioning of windows and doors for evaluation
- Promote the RbA Culture of “Everybody’s Gotta Win” with every interaction
- Perform services on all windows and doors whether it be due to installation or manufacturing
- Perform assessments of window/door issues and potential installation issues
Working Conditions
- Shift hours: 7:30 am – 6:00 pm, Monday thru Friday
- Ability to 75 lbs on a consistent basis, sometimes in excess of 100 lbs.
- Ability to work safely on ladders up to 30 feet for an extended period of time
- Ability to squat, bend, walk, stand, twist and reach frequently
- Push and pull larger equipment/products frequently
- Good hand/eye coordination
- Excellent motor skills
- Ability to carry ladders, windows and doors
- Good vision. Must be able to see minor glass defects and read tape measure
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions and adapt to changing weather conditions frequently
- Work indoors under cover without air conditioning or heat frequently
- Maneuver safely on uneven terrain or in tight spaces frequently
WHAT YOU BRING | THE PERSON
- Previous experience servicing windows and doors (2 years experience)
- Highly organized with the ability to reflect empathy to customers
- Ability to install a window or door from start to finish, including trim work
- Valid Driver’s License in good standing
- Lead Safe Certification preferred
- Proficient in computers
